Problem z funkcją uśpij/hibernacja

Witam,
od paru dni mam problem z funkcją uśpij oraz hibernuj. Przy wybraniu funkcji "uśpij", komputer wstrzymuje prace, świeci się dioda informująca o wstrzymaniu pracy laptopa, jednak po naciśnięciu przycisku "power" komputer zamiast panelu logowania, uruchamia na nowo system. Przy wybraniu funkcji "hibernacja", komputer próbuje hibernacji, lecz następnie zamiast wyłączenia, następuje restart.
Wcześniej obydwie opcje działały poprawnie, zdaje mi się, że problem ten wystąpił po pobraniu jakiś nowych aktualizacji ostatnio w debianie.
Może, ktoś zna sposób na rozwiązanie powyższego problemu?
