Problemy na serwerze vsftpd z łączeniem z WAN oraz uprawnieniami z LAN

Witam,
Mam debiana 6.0.4 z działającym serwerem vsftpd.
Niedawno zainstalowałam na drugim komputerze nowego debiana 7.4.0 i zainstalowałam server vsftpd.
Plik vsftpd.conf spróbowałam zrobić taki sam jak miałam na debianie 6.0.4.
Niestety nie wszystko działa prawidłowo:
1. Mogę połączyć się klientem ftp (filezilla z windowsa) tylko po adresie z LANu czyli 192.168.1.100
2. Z LANu na dodatek mogę połączyć się tylko użytkownikami których wpisałam w pliku: vsftpd.chroot_list i wtedy mogę też wyjść poza katalog domowy tego użytkownika,
2a. Jednak jeśli uzytkownika nie ma w pliku vsftpd.chroot_list - bo go tam nie wpisałam, albo potem usunęłam (+restart vsftpd) to w ogóle nie łączy do katalogu domowego użytkownika,
wysypuje się na "LIST" i potem pisze
Przekroczony czas oczekiwania na połączenie. Nie udało się otrzymać listy katalogów/
Po usunięciu użytkownika z listy chroot i restarcie vsftpd pojawia się też komunikat (przy próbie połączenia tym użytkownikiem)

3. Z WANu czyli 83.238.xyz.abc nie łączy się wcale - port 21 jest otwarty , sprawdzałam www.canyouseeme.org, wysypuje się na "LIST" i "przekroczony czas oczekiwania na serwerze...."
Chciałabym na debianie 7.4.0 mieć tak samo jak mam na debianie 6.0.4 czyli:
1. Użytkownicy ftp nie umieszczeni na liście chroot mogą się łączyć tylko do domowego katalogu, nie mogą wychodzić poza katalog domowy,
2. Użytkownicy umieszczeni na liście chroot mogą wychodzić poza katalog domowy,
3. Taka sama sytuacja w przypadku łączenia się z LANu i z WAnu z uprawnieniami użytkowników w zależności od listy chroot.
