PulseAudio i jakość połączenia w skype

Witam.
Niezależnie od pory dzwonienia mam problem z jakością połączenia w Skypie. Ja w miarę słyszę poprawnie, ale osoba po drugiej stronie słyszy trzaski i w ogóle strasznie przerywa mój głos. Wiem to na pewno, bo wykonałem testową rozmowę dzwoniąc w Skypie na echo123.
Nie jest to wina internetu, ponieważ mam szybkie w miarę łącze, co potwierdzają testy np. na stronie speedtest.net itp. Poza tym zauważyłem, że gdy wykonuje rozmowę testową i mam włączony panel kontroli głośności PulseAudio to przynajmniej mój głos się nie przycina. Są trzaski, ale to być może wina wbudowanego mikrofonu. Próbowałem sam dojść metodą prób i błędów w czym tkwi problem, ale gdy tylko wyłączę panel kontroli głośności PulseAudio, dzieje się to samo, mój głos się zacina (praktycznie nic nie słychać). Nie pomogło usuwanie Skype i ponowna instalacja.

Czy ktoś z was jest w stanie mi wytłumaczyć o co chodzi, a przynajmniej zaproponować jakieś rozwiązanie tego problemu. Rozumiem, że przy każdej rozmowie można włączać sobie panel z kontrolą PulseAudio, ale nie o to chyba chodzi.

Zauważyłem, że następuje zdecydowana poprawa, jeśli podczas korzystania z Skype uruchomię program PulseAudio Volume Control. Nie wiem czym dokładnie spowodowana jest poprawa jakości nagrywania dźwięków. Po prostu wystarczy włączyć powyższą aplikacje, bez potrzeby niczego zmieniania, ustawiania itp.

Co prawda nie jest to rozwiązanie, przynajmniej nie idealne, ale może komuś się przyda.

Zainstaluj nowy skype (2.2 beta) - tutaj http://www.skypejournal.com/blog/2011/0 ... l-waiting/ napisali, że jest poprawa audio i wideo.

Nota bene Skype uruchomił oficjalne repozytorium:

Zainstaluj najnowsze skype beta. Może coś pomoże. Ściągałem i instalowałem ręcznie.

Pulseaudio miałem zainstalowane wraz systemem, ale spróbuje je odinstalować, ale to za parę dni, bo teraz potrzebuje laptopa i jakoś ten dźwięk jeszcze względnie działa na nim. Dam na pewno znać czy się poprawiło, ale myślę że pomoże :-)

Witam w Nowym Roku,
odinstalowanie pulseaudio pomogło. Trochę miałem problemów na początku z szumami i trzaskami w Skypie, ale zabawa w Kmix i ustawieniach dźwięku w Skypie pomogła.

Przy okazji, czy nie powinienem ustawić jakiegoś priorytetu w /etc/apt/preferences, tak aby z powrotem podczas aktualizacji nie zainstalowało mi się pulseaudio?
