Dotychczas uzywalem Linuxa Red Hat 9 (Shrike). Debiana nie znam wcale i mam do Was jedno pytanie. Najpierw krótkie wprowadzenie:
Ostatnio chcialem zainstalowac sobie Fedora Core 6, ale w Release Notes znalazlem:

Czy oficjalna dystrybucja Debiana zawiera programy umożliwiające odtwarzanie formatów MP3, DVD, Adobe/Macromedia Flash Player, Sun's Java, Adobe Acrobat Reader i kilku innych wynienionych na stronie http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/ForbiddenItems ??? - zalamalem sie gdy przeczytalem te strone...

DVD, MP3 i inne - dost
dluki, w FC też masz te programy, ale nie w wersji oficjalnej, tylko musisz dodać repozytorium "livna" (jeśli dobrze pamiętam), po prostu oficjalna wersja FC ma być Wolna od nie wolnych programów, podobnie Debian, dlatego często wystarczy dodać do repo sekcję "non-free" i już masz dostęp do nie wolnych programów, ale Debian jest dzięki temu w całości Wolny.
