Witam forumowiczów

Posiadam kartę graficzną ATI Radeon 9500 Pro. Używam wolnych sterowników. Gdy włączę jakąś gierkę 3D to w niektórych miejscach grafika kompletnie się psuje. Wyświetlają się jakieś kolorowe paski. Nie chcę instalować zamkniętych sterowników bo i one nie są super. Ja i tak w gry nie gram tak często, ale chciałbym odpalić sobie beryla, albo compiza. Gdy kiedyś zainstalowałem compiza na GLX to wszystko strasznie się cieło.

Po zainstalowaniu fglrx problem z tymi paskami znika, ale jak już wcześniej pisałem nie chcę ich używać.

Ja mam Radeona 9200 SE i Compiz na otwartych sterach śmiga aż miło. W xorg.conf zamiast "radeon" mam wpisane "ati" i nie mam sekcji "Module" oraz "DRI". Mam tez trochę inne opcje w sekcji "Device" i "Extensions". Porównaj te fragmenty:

Może to w czymś pomoże. ;-)

PS Nie usuwaj sekcji "DRI". Dopisałem ją do mojego xorg.conf i zwiększył mi się FPS w glxgears :-D

Nic z tego. Widocznie otwarte sterowniki nie wspierają mojej karty.

PS Nie masz sekcji Device? Dziwne.

Przecież zamknięte stery obsługują już AIGLX :-)

Nie mam sekcji "Module". Sekcję "Device" mam. Nawet umieściłem ją w moim poprzednim poście. Czytaj uważnie :-D

Odkąd fglrx obsługuje AIGLX? Wiem, że AMD/ATI wypuszcza dokumentację i coś idzie naprzód, ale o AIGLX w pełni działającym jeszcze nie słyszałem.

Nie żeby u mnie to działało, ale wspiera...

Kildyt przestań... czytaj uważnie, fglrx to zamknięte sterowniki i przyznaję Ci racje, nie obsługują one AIGLX natomiast w temacie jest mowa o otwartych sterownikach ATI. Zatem przeczytaj kilka wiadomości w internecie, a następnie dopiero napisz. Jeszcze raz ponaglam abyś czytał posty od pierwszego w dół :-P

Ja mam radeona 9550 i zainstalowane sterowniki ze strony ati, ktoś wie jak je odinstalować abym mógł zainstalować inne. Proszę o pomoc bo meczę się z tym już długo. Dziękuję.
