Witam. Proszę o pomoc w zainstalowaniu steronika do karty RIVA TNT2 PRO, próbowałem z poradnika kaka http://kaka.ovh.org/howto/nvidia_drivers/ ale podczas instalacji wyskakuje mi okienko z informacją o tym, że mam złego kenela. Oto zawwartość pliku var/log/nvidia-installer.log

kompilator użyty do kompilacji Twojego kernela to gcc 4.1 a w systemie masz gcc 4.2
W katalogu /usr/bin skasuj plik @gcc = dowiązanie do gcc 4.2 i zrób dowiązanie symboliczne do gcc 4.1

Po 1 nie wiem jak robić dowiązania.
Po 2 w folderze /usr/bin nie ma pliku gcc-4.1. Jest tylko gcc-4.2 i samo gcc.

to zainstaluj pakiet gcc-4.1

Mógłbyś mi podać gotową formułkę, ponieważ nie jestem PRO.
Czy mogło to być spowodowane tym, że pobrałem wersje Debiana z XFCE ??

usuń stare dowiązanie

i utwórz nowe

wszystko na koncie roota

Dzięki koleś. Jesteś wielki. Gotowca chciałem dlatego, ponieważ miałem wielką rozdzielczość. Sterownik się zainstalował, jednakże nie skonfigurował mi się xorg.conf :-/

No to teraz:
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
choć gdybyś się zgodził jak instalator starownika proponował updatowanie pliku xorg.conf to po restarcie miałbyś automatycznie.

Akceleracji nadala nie mam (Xorg-a zmieniłem sam), ale mniejsza z tym. Dzięki ludzie za pomoc. Teraz tylko pozostało mi czytać poradniki kaka :-P

Po tej zabawie z gcc nie wyskakiwało mi okienko, aby automatycznie zmienić xorg-a
