zawieszanie debiana

Na wstępie witam wszystkich użytkowników 
Teraz do rzeczy debiana używam od niedawna (wersja testowa) pracuję na procesorze 64 bitowym, ale poszedłem na łatwiznę i zainstalowałem wersję i386 zamiast amd64, może tu tkwi problem, ale nie wiem czemu miałby być, b. długo pracowałem na innym 32bitowym systemie i wszystko było ok. Mój debian ma tendencję do zawieszania się. Nie chodzi mi tu o pad serwera X'ów, czy jakiś programów, komputer przestaje reagować na cokolwiek, zostaje tylko reset.
Nie umiem zlokalizować problemu. Logi wydają się być czyste, memtest86 też nic nie wykazał...
Tutaj fragmenty /var/log/messages (ja nic nie widzę, ale może trzeba wprawnego oka

teraz /var/log/debug (ten jest długi, ale w nim też nic nie widzę :/)
dmesg z przed awarii także nic nie pokazuje :/
Nie umiem poradzić sobie sam ze znalezieniem przyczyny tak niestabilnej pracy systemu. Nie jestem do końca pewien czy może być to wina samego debiana, być może jest to problem sprzętowy, jednak nie znam żadnego innego programu do testowania podzespołów komputera, a chwilowo na przekładanie i duże kombinowanie nie mam ani czasu ani możliwości.
Liczę na Wasze rady, lub/i nazwy programów którymi będę mógł sprawdzić resztę swojego sprzętu.
