Witam
Proszę o pomoc w konfiguracji sieci aero2 z laptopem DELL E5410.

w Network Manager widzę tylko dwie rodzaje sieci: ethernetowa i wifi.
Co mam dalej robic...?

Myślę, że powód to brak sterowników. Podaj jeszcze wynik lsusb, oraz sprawdź (polecenie aptitude search usb-modeswitch) , czy masz zainstalowane usb-modeswitch.

Hm, to dość ciekawe. Na moim E6400 mam modem Dell 5540 (to to pierwsze od góry, tak na prawdę to jest jakiś Ericsson, ale Dell se lubi zmieniać nazwy na swoje
).
Poniżej moje lsusb. I w sumie to nieważne czy ja wykonam je z pendrive gdzie mam tylko wersję tekstową Debiana czy z dysku twardego, zawsze mi pokazuje ten Broadband Module.

hmm teraz tak ogladam i wychodzi wg mnie na to ze tam po prostu nie ma modemu w tym modelu....mimo iż jest wejście na 3g modem...i narysowany sim card

Jedyne jeszcze wyjście żeby sprawdzić to zdjąć klawiaturę, a potem górną część obudowy. Niestety E5410 ma montowany ten modem w dość nieszczęśliwym miejscu tak mniej więcej w okolicy klawiszy: minus - plus - backspace
To, że jest slot na kartę sim, to chyba od serii D w każdej latitudzie jest. Złącza do wewnętrznych modemów 3G pojawiły się w latitudach od serii E (E6XXX, E5XXX) właśnie, o ile mnie pamięć nie myli.

Ewentualnie możesz zainstalować rf-kill i sprawdzić jeszcze czy aby na pewno nie jest zablokowane to urządzenie.

JAk widzisz mam modem wwan. Czyli wynika z tego, że u ciebie takiego urządzenia po prostu nie ma.
