problemy z rodzielczo

Witam!

Normalnie mam rozdzielczość 1280x800 (laptop). Zainstalowałem grę Frets on Fire, uruchamiam, w grze jest rozdzielczość 1024x768, gdy wychodzę z gry - taka rodzielczość zostaje. W XFCE nie mogę zmienić na 1280x800 (jest tylko 1280x768 albo inne 7xx), mimo że w xorg.conf mam:

Dzisiaj patrzyłem Battle of Wesnoth - to samo (po wyjściu zostaje inna rozdzielczość(. Ponadto w grze mam możliwość zmiany rozdzielczości na 1280x800, ale po zmianie gra się wywala błędem w konsoli:
