Gnome-commander połączenie ftp z logowaniem

Witam
.
Jestem świeżym użytkownikiem Debiana (oraz ogólnie Linuksa).
Mam problem z programem gnone-commander.
Próbuję się połączyć poprzez opcję "fpt z logowaniem" .Gdy wpisuje nazwę hosta oraz
użytkownika i wybieram opcje połącz, wyłącza mnie z programu gnome-commander.
Uruchomiłem
konsolę i wpisałem z poziomu zwykłego
użytkownika polecenie:
Zrobiłem to samo co wyżej, ale dostałem błędy w
konsoli.

Spróbuj odznaczyć:
Kod: Zaznacz cały
Użyj menadżera haseł GNOME do uwierzytelniania
i wpisać swoje hasło w polu "Hasło".

Niestety, próbowałem tego sposobu, o dziwo jak wejdę z konsoli jako root, program działa. Może znasz lepszego klienta ftp? Wiem, że mc jest fajny ale w pracy mamy 20 kont ftp i potrzebuję takiego klienta gdzie będę mógł to wszystko ogarnąć. Na Windowsie używałem programu total commander.

Od kiedy to użytkownik root, może w prosty sposób, uruchamiać programy graficzne w Debianie?

Pod Windowsem total comander łączy się z serwerami ftp jako anonim (anonymous).
