Po kompilacja jądra 3.9.2 nie można uruchomić gnome - czarny ekran

Witam.
Próbuję kompilować jądro do wersji 3.9.2. Niby wszystko poszło bez błędów, ale nie mogę wystartować gnome. Po wpisaniu:

Zaznaczenie opcji:

powoduje, że system się ładuje (ale jest czarny ekran i nic nie widać). Problem ten można rozwiązać przez dodanie opcji:

nomodeset[/I] lub [I]i915.modeset=0
w grub.cfg.

Ma ktoś jakieś pomysły gdzie jest problem? Dlaczego nie uruchamia się gnome? Na standardowym jądrze wszystko działa poprawnie.

Uruchom system na jądrze dystrybucyjnym i sprawdź jakie moduły są ładowane. To samo potem na swoim i porównaj. Dodatkowo możesz pokusić się o porównanie swojej konfiguracji jądra z dystrybucyjną.
