Zamknięte sterowniki ATI - zwalnianie obrazu, błędy glxinfo

Mam problem z ustawieniami karty graficznej AMD Radeon HD 6320. Jest to karta graficzna wbudowana w procesor AMD E-450. Zainstalowałem Debiana 6.0.4 (tego stabilnego). Po instalacji nie miałem standardowo ustawionej rozdzielczości dopasowanej do mojego wyświetlacza. Postanowiłem zainstalować sobie testowo sterowniki oryginalne AMD. Pobrałem ze strony sterownik: amd-driver-installer-12-1-x86.x86_64.run (na stronie wybrałem sterownik dla Radeon HD 6xxxM series). Instalacja przebiegła prawidłowo, rozdzielczość po restarcie w porządku, ale podczas przesuwania okien strasznie wszystko zwalnia. Chwytam okno, przesuwam i jego części pozostają. Przewijanie zawartości okien zwalnia. Ogólnie wszystko działa wolno. W jednym z tematów znalazłem informację, aby wpisać to:

Na pierwszy ogień proponuję odinstalować ten sterownik a następnie zainstalować wersję z repozytorium. Nie wiem jakiego Debiana używasz, ale w wersji stabilnej nie ma aktualnej wersji, trzeba instalować z wersji testowej. Po instalacji będziesz miał narzędzie amdcccle (w sumie teraz też masz, wiec zamiast od razu odinstalowywać, możesz się najpierw nim pobawić). Tam możesz się pobawić ustawieniami, wyłączenie Tear Free Desktop może przyspieszyć pulpit (przynajmniej u mnie przyspiesza).

Wersja Debiana 6.0.4.

A jak nazywa się ta opcja po polsku w tym programie amdcccle? Przestawiałem tam opcję eliminacja zniekształceń, ale to nic nie pomagało. Ogólnie instalacja sterowników ze strony AMD nie jest zalecana? Lepiej instalować starsze z wersji testowej? W jaki sposób mogę to zrobić, ale zaznaczam, nie chcę całej wersji testowej, ponieważ z 4 dni temu instalowałem na tym laptopie tą wersje, to od razu podczas ładowania jądra powstawała sieczka na ekranie i nie wiem czym było to spowodowane. Tak więc, wolę unikać wersji testowej na tym laptopie. Chyba że wybrane elementy, ale jak to zrobić?

Nazwa tego firmware ma być związana z ATI/AMD? Przeszukałem u mnie i nie mam nic związanego z tą kartą graficzną w repozytorium.

Może muszę dodać jakiś wpis w pliku /etc/apt/srouces.list, abym miał do tego dostęp? Obecnie w tym pliku mam wpisane:

Musisz zainstalować nowszą wersję jądra. W pakietach z backports są informacje o wsparciu dla kart z serii HD 6300.

Z instalacją nowego jądra jest niestety problem. Otrzymuje taki błąd:

Z tego co widzę mogę tylko instalować wersję 3.2, ale skąd otrzymać linux-base w wersji większej niż 3.0? W repozytorium nie jest dostępne.

Jądro już zainstalowałem. Okazało się, że używając apt-get jądro się nie instalowało. Użyłem aptitude i instalacja przebiegła poprawnie, instalując zależności. Nie wiem dlaczego apt-get tych zależności nie znajdował. Ważne, że jądro już jest. Teraz dalej będę walczył ze sterownikami ATI.

Edycja2:

Po instalacji jądra 3.2 przeinstalowałem ponownie sterowniki ATI z tego pliku, który pobrałem kilka dni temu z serwera AMD. Po instalacji wykonałem polecenie:

oraz zrestartowałem system. Działa bez problemu. Smużenie okien, spowalnianie znikło. Glxinfo wyświetla informacje. W ustawieniach amdcccle pokazało się więcej ustawień itp. Działa wszystko świetnie, ale został jeden mankament.

Wcześniej zainstalowałem na jądrze 2.6 pakiet laptop-mode-tools. Automatycznie zmieniał mi jasność ekranu na 50% podczas uruchamiania. Wpisywał do tego pliku odpowiednią wartość:

/proc/acpi/video/VGA/LCDD/brightness
Obecnie ten plik na nowym jądrze znikł (pewnie dlatego, że nie ładują się już sterowniki otwarte). Nie ma nigdzie możliwości wpisywania nowej wartości jasności. Jak można to ustawić obecnie?

Ogólnie bardzo dziękuję za pomoc. Wszystkie porady pomogły i jest świetnie. Mam jeszcze problem z kwestią dźwięku, ale to już w innym temacie zadam pytanie jutro.
