NTP i synchronizacja z serwerem nadrzędnym

Witam.
Uruchomiłem na dwóch serwerach demony nptd i w pliku /etc/ntp.conf wpisałem z jakimi serwerami (serwerem nadrzędnym) ma się synchronizować i wszystko działa ładnie i poprawnie. Jednak problem polega na tempie synchronizacji, gdyż z moich obliczeń wynika że jest to 5ms na każdą minutę. Wynik taki dostarcza mi:
Poczytałem już sporo dokumentacji ale nigdzie nie znalazłem odpowiedzi jak to przyspieszyć. Chcę aby aktualizacja czasu przyspieszyła gdyż dwa serwery powinny działać z równą datą, a w przeciągu tygodnia rozjeżdża się data nawet do 5minut. Licząc prędkość aktualizacji tak działającego ntp (na dobę zmieni czas o 5s) to po tygodniu naprostuje się o ~35s, a gdzie myśleć o 5 minutach. Czyli po prostu chcę wiedzieć jak zmusić go aby zamiast 5ms na minutę zmieniał o 1s na minutę.
