touchpad (synaptics), co któryś restart systemu przestaje działać

Witam.

Krótko mówiąc - touchpad oszalał. Wygląda to tak, że co któryś restart:
  • touchpad przestaje działać w ogóle (nie reaguje na dotyk), albo
  • touchpad działa, ale bez dodatkowych funkcjonalności (np. przewijanie palcem) - po prostu sterownik synaptics nie działa (co potwierdza komunikat o braku sterownika synaptics przy próbie konfiguracji).
Z kolei, po którymś z kolei restarcie wszystko działa już dobrze. Potem, kilka restartów i znów sytuacja się powtarza. Co to może być? Zainstalowałem sterownik z repozytorium eksperymentalnego i ciągle to samo...

Dodatkowe informacje:
  • Wykluczam fizyczne uszkodzenie sprzętu - pod Windows7 zawsze działa
  • Mysz usb też zawsze działa, ale czasem po starcie z podłaczoną myszą, gdy się wszystko zablokuje - mysz zadziała dopiero po odłączeniu i podłączeniu ponownie.
Dodam jeszcze, że po usunięciu pakietu xserwer-xorg-input-synaptics nic się nie blokuje, ale wiadomo - touchpad nie jest zbyt funkcjonalny.

Model komputera i touchpada wynika z logów, więc nie podaję. Używam Debiana Sid, z jądrem 2.6.38 z aptosida.

Sprawdzałeś inną wersję jądra? Np. w Sidzie jest obecnie wersja 2.6.38-.

Nie bardzo rozumiem. Co mam porównać? Z czym? Na jądrze oficjalnym z Sida dzieje się to samo.

Zauważyłem dziwną prawidłowość. Otóż, po restarcie udeva touchpad zaczyna działać, mało tego - dzisiaj, ni z tego ni z owego po restarcie system w ogóle przestał widzieć kartę dźwiękową, touchpada i kartę wifi. I znów - restart udeva wszystko naprawił. Co to może być?

P.S.
Widzę, że tutaj nikt nie posiada wystarczającej wiedzy żeby mi pomóc (bez urazy). Może więc polecicie jakieś forum, gdzie udzielają się np. programiści tworzący Debiana? Oczywiście język angielski nie jest tu żadną barierą.

Właśnie udev. Nie skojarzyłem tego bo nic nie wspomniałeś o myszy i klawiaturze. A sprawa jest znana od pewnego czasu tylko są trochę inne objawy.

Tak, to może być jakiś trop. Tylko że ja już próbowałem cofnąć udeva do wersji testowej i nic to nie pomogło... Nie wspominałem o udevie bo nie przyszło mi to do głowy wcześniej. Dopiero jak po dzisiejszej aktualizacji miałem przy starcie komunikat:

coś mnie tknęło żeby się tym zainteresować. Ale to co piszą z myszą na dug-u - dokładnie to samo. Póki co, dałem w opcjach gruba rw zamiast ro, usunąłem katalog /run i po restarcie jest dobrze. Zobaczymy jak to dalej będzie działać - podobno wersja z 2 na końcu naprawiła już problem (być może to stary katalog /run powodował jeszcze błędy).

Więc, teraz dalsze testy...

Ja mam podobny problem, tyle że usunięcie katalogu /run nie pomogło. Wczoraj zauważyłem, że przestał działać mi touchpad (na co dzień używam myszy bt). Z tego co widzę nie ładuje się sterownik. Raz na kilka restartów zadziałał mi, ale po kolejnym przestał.

W którymś momencie po restarcie zadziałało, ale po kolejnym znowu klapa. Jeszcze 2 dni temu touchpad działał bez problemów.

Dodane:
Jeden na 10 restartów wykrywa touchpad, ale po kolejnym restarcie bania. Już nie mam pomysłów.

Problem udało mi się rozwiązać, ale cały czas nie mogę zrozumieć co było przyczyną. Próbowałem:
  • zmiana wersji udev - nie pomogła,
  • zmiana jądra - nie pomogła,
  • różne magiczne parametry dodawane do gruba - nie pomogły,
  • reset biosu - nie pomógł.
Pomogło dopiero wyłączenie laptopa, odłączenie zasilacza i wyjęcie baterii. Po tym zabiegu już kilka restartów i touchpad działa. Na mój rozum to gdzieś jakiś bit musiał się "zawiesić", a bateria go podtrzymywała w takim niestabilnym stanie.
