Instalacja sterowników wifi ipw2100 w IBM T40

Prosze o pomoc w uruchomieniu wifi.
Mam sterownik ipw2100-1.3,fw ale nie mam pojęcia co dalej zrobić.
Repozytoria mam zaktualizowane

Rozumem przez to że dodałeś sekcję non-free w /etc/apt/sources.list
W terminalu wykonaj:

su
apt-get update
apt-get install firmware-ipw2x00 wireless-tools  wpasupplicant wicd
update-initramfs -uv | grep firmware

Pokaż co zwraca polecenie:

iwconfig

By aktywować kartę:

ifconfig wlan0 up

Ruszyło po ponownym restarcie. Tylko wszystko jakoś tak bardzo się muli. Bardzo powoli system pracuje.

Zobaczymy jaki moduł się załadował. 2100 czy 2200. Jeśli 2200 to użyjemy nowszej wersji 3.1.

No tak, powinno być :

Pokaż. Co prawda wiemy już że jest to 2100, ale będziemy potrzebować pełnej nazwy modułu.
