[+] Logo gnome - jak podmienić?

Pytanie pewnie banalne, ale jak w GNOME podmienić logo w górnym pasku, dokładnie o to mi chodzi:

- ¦ciągnij ze strony gnome-look.org "Circle Starts".
- Przeczytaj informację zawartą w pliku ,,Readme''. Znajdziesz tam m.in. taki fragment:
HOW TO INSTALL IT
-------------------------
1) Find the folder of the icon theme that you are using (/home/[you:cc43a6af08]/.icons/[theme]).
2) Just rename the file "start-here.png" in the folder "24x24"/"32x32"/"48x48" (better) to "start-here.png.backup".
3) Copy the matching picture of your distribution in this folder and rename it to "start-here.png".
4) Reload the icon theme in gnome-appearance-properties.
5) Set the height of the panel which is using the main menu at 24/32/48px.
- Usuń z panelu element z logo gnome i skrótami "Aplikacje Miejsca System".
- Dodaj do panelu "Menu główne".
- Przyjemnej zabawy

Raczej nie o to mi chodzi, nie chcę pozbywać się menu Aplikacje Meijsca i System, chcę zmienić tylko tą ikonkę a nie całe menu. I nie wierzę że nie jest to możliwe bez instalacji dodatkowych bajerów.

To jest tylko łopatologicznie opisana metoda - nie musisz jej powielać, możesz na tej samej zasadzie wrzucić cokolwiek. Możesz w ten sposób dodać ten sam aplet (z aplikacje miejsca system) ponownie - załaduje się już Twój obrazek.
Wydaje mi się, że nie chciało Ci się zajrzeć na Look.org, więc powiem, że szumna nazwa "instalacja" w moim how to, oznaczała tylko... zgranie plików .png na dysk
Przeczytaj tego posta jeszcze raz - jestem pewien, że chodziło Ci dokładnie o to.

No ale OK, próbuję.
First method:
1) Find the folder of the icon theme that you are using (/home/[you:a7787d83f3]/.icons/[theme]).
2) Just rename the file "start-here.png" in the folder "24x24"/"32x32"/"48x48" (better) to "start-here.png.backup".
3) Copy the matching picture of your distribution in this folder and rename it to "start-here.png".
4) Reload the icon theme in gnome-appearance-properties.
5) Set the height of the panel which is using the main menu at 24/32/48px.
Nic nie ma w folderze .icons :->
Druga metoda:
1) Launch "gconf-editor" and open this following path: "apps/panel/objects/object_X" where X is the number which has "menu-object" as value of "object_type" key.
2) Then, in "custom_icon" property, write the path of one of the icons.
3) Check also "use_custom_icon" property.
Nie ma katalogu "objects:

W takim razie moja metoda jest jednak do kitu.
Ja wypadku ściągnąłbym przykładowy temat (np. snowish) i zobaczył co tam w środku jest napisane (nawet bez instalowania go) i spróbował zrobić własny.
