Poradnik Kaki podaje minimalnie inną wersję sterownika - NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.05-pkg1.run. Być może nie ma to najmniejszego znaczenia, spróbuj jednak z nimi (kiedyś miałem GF 2 MX i tylko na tym sterowniku działał).

Podałem wyzej rozwiązanie które prawdopodobnie zadziała.
Ale jak jesteś uparty to się męcz.

Na tym jaju nigdy się ten sterownik nie zainstaluje.

Zainstalowalem NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.10-pkg1.run. To samo sie dzieje co po instalacji NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.07-pkg1.run.
Sprobuje zainstalowac starsze jadro. Moze to cos zmieni
