I spent many hours on irc and various forums trying to get this to work with ALSA and Linux. As of March 2008, nothing could be done. Be aware that Creative sells several substantially different chips under the X-Fi name, and some of them DO work with ALSA. However, this is definitely not one of those. I tried this as a replacement for my laptop's burnt out sound card. If you're in the same position, just get a usb headset instead. I got one from Logitech with a small dongle that converts a usb port into standard audio in/out.Nie doczytałem że to xtreme.
