Witam wszystkich. Mam dość poważny problem. Otóż pokusiłem się o instalację od nowa Debiana. Zainstalowałem ze wszystkimi pakietami pobranymi z sieci. I po ponownym uruchomieniu pojawił się problem:
Standardowe ładowanie GRUBa, ale nie ładuje się do końca. Wyświetla tylko:

I czekałem tak ponad 15 minut i nic. Dodam, że wcześniej na tym samym dysku był Debian, nawet z tej samej płyty instalacyjnej, ale bez pobierania pakietów z sieci. Sprawdzałem plik /boot/grub/menu.lst, są wpisy dla ładowania Debiana oraz Windowsa, którego mam na drugim dysku. Gdzie może być problem?

Korzystając z jakiegoś live cd wykonaj:

Wynik tej komendy pokaż nam. Możesz jeszcze pokazać zawartość pliku

Na dysku 320 GB mam windowsa, na 40 GB mam właśnie Debiana.

@EDIT: Częsciowo problem naprawiłem instalując drugiego Debiana (Lenny +XFCE)

@@EDIT: Ten drugi Debian w ogóle nie startuje. Tak Więc chyba przesiąde się na Lennyego

Dlaczego masz flagę bootowania ustawioną na urządzenie /dev/sdb5 (swap) zamiast na /dev/sdb2 (/)?

Aha, dziękuję za wyjaśnienia. Tak też myślałem, ale nie byłem tego pewien.

Na przyszłość możesz spod jakiegoś livecd lub spod innego linuksa przeinstalować gruba, w ten sposób że:
- montujesz partycję na której chcesz zainstalować pliki konfiguracyjne GRUBa
- potem dajesz

potem tylko musisz przekopiować do tej partycji plik menu.lst lub wygenerować poprzez
