Debian Etch z KDE nie uruchamia si

Witam. Szukałem na forum, ale nic nie pomogło. Zainstalowałem go bez najmniejszych problemów (mam 1CD ale instalacja szła bez dostępu do internetu, bo nie mogłem skonfigurować przez DHCP. Podczas włączania wszystko idzie bez problemów do momentu kiedy powinien się pojawić kdm. Monitor wtedy gaśnie, po chwili znów się zaświeci ale nic nie wyświetla, jest tylko czarne tło, po wciśnięciu alt + F1, nie przechodzi w tryb tekstowy, zero akcji. Próbowałem już:

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-org

nawet usunąłem kde, które się samo zainstalowało i próbowałem go ręcznie zainstalować, ale efekt końcowy jest taki sam. Zalogowałem się na ten drugi wpis w grubie i próbowałem dać:

ale efekt taki sam jak przy normalnym włączeniu.

Mam takie same objawy ze zintegrowaną kartą ati. Trochę powalczyłem ale ciągle były jakieś problemy. Ostatecznie wsadziłem nvidię na pci-e. Więć rozwiązania nie mam. Aby się upewnić wyedytuj xorg.conf i zamień

Jak x-y wstaną po zrestartowaniu (x-ów) to pewnie wina sterownika. Ale wtedy będziesz już znał winowajcę i poszukasz sobie czegoś o instalacji sterowników ati.[/code]

Sugerowałbym przytoczyć loga z x'ów z czasu gdy nie mogłeś odpalić kdm z driverem ati.
