potrzebny config /etc/apache/*

Przez przypadek usunalem katalog konfiguracyjny apacha, tworzenie nowego jest troche pracochlonne bylbym wdzieczny za dzialajacy (najlepiej w wersji standardowej) /etc/apache/* do Server version: Apache/1.3.33 (Debian GNU/Linux)

nie szybciej przeinstalować Debiana?
albo usunąć i zainstalować jeszcze raz?
lub ściągnąć źródła i stamtąd skopiować domyślne ustawienia.

nie jestem pewien, ale chyba gdy nie ma tego pliku to uruchomienie apacha powinno stworzyć defaultowy ten plik

sprawdź w jakim pakiecie znajduje się config

:~$dpkg -l apache2\*

na przyszłość, możesz sobie go skopiować po "wejściu" do paczki np. za pomocą mc albo przekonfigurować od podstaw apache2-common i apache2

potem install.

EDIT:
Sorry, ale reinstall systemu, to już raczej ostateczność, coś jak Koniec ¦wiata! Tak mi się wydaje.

daj:

apt-get remove --purge apache
apt-get install apache

parametr purge usuwa wszystko co jest związane z usuwanym programem, więc jak potem będziesz instalował to to system nawet nie będzie wiedział ze kiedyś apache był zainstalowany w systemie.

Masz jakiś szczególny powód ku temu, że zainstalowałeś dwie różne wersje apacha (apache i apache2)?
Jeżeli nie, to myślę, że apache2 działa całkiem miło :-)
A co do Twojego przykładu: pakiet apache jest nierozłączny z pakietem apache-common. Co prawda masz go niby zainstalowanego, ale coś jest z nim nie tak. Ta oto linia właśnie o tym mówi:

/var/lib/dpkg/info/apache.postinst: line 12: /usr/share/apache/postinst.common: No such file or directory

To co wytłuszczone jest częścią składową właśnie apache-common.
