Twój kernel był kompilowany starszą wersją gcc niż masz obecnie.I teraz vmware kiedy używa nowszego gcc do kompilacji modułów ma problem.
Są dwie możliwości
1. Skompiluj swój kernel posiadaną obecnie wersją gcc.
2. Doinstaluj starsze (nie usuwaj tego co masz tylko dodaj starsze z repozytorium) i zmień domyślne gcc na tą starszą wersję - tyu masz rozwiązanie
