Cześć.
Na początku chciałbym się przywitać, ponieważ jestem nowy na forum (ale z Debiana już trochę korzystam). Wcześniej jakoś udawało mi się rozwiązywać różne problemy z system, ale w końcu pojawił się taki kiedy Google nie daje mi już odpowiedzi.
Problem mój polega na tym, iż próbuję skalibrować monitor za pomocą urządzenia SPYDER3, Argyll i DispcalGUI. Instalacja poszła gładko, jednak przy próbie kalibracji wyświetliła mi się taka informacja:

Na wcześniejszych instalacjach Debiana nie miałem takiego problemu, ale stwierdziłem, że może uruchomienie jako root pomoże. I nie pomogło.
Skorzystałem więc z polecenia:

W czym może być problem?
Dodam, że inne urządzenia typu pendrive, myszka bezprzewodowa itp., działają bez zarzutów
Może mam coś pomotane w jakiś sterownikach, bo np. raz działa mi zmiana jasności ekranu a raz po ponownym włączeniu już nie mogę zmienić jasności.

Mój system to Debian wersja testowa x64 (zainstalowany 2 dni temu z wersji stabilnej) z KDE 4.6.3 zainstalowany na Samsungu R540.

Opis: mode switching tool for controlling "flip flop" USB devices

Niestety usb-modeswitch jest zainstalowany. Reinstalacja też nie pomogła. Cały czas zmienia numer urządzenia. Chyba wrócę do Debiana w wersji stabilnej. Może instalacja kde-standard by pomogła? Chociaż nie widzę żeby chciał instalować coś dodatkowego do obsługi usb.

Ja bym się przyjrzał modułowi ładowanemu po podłączeniu urządzenia. Czy za każdym razem jest ładowany ten sam moduł? Z jakimi opcjami?

Sposobów jest kilka.

Po podłączeniu urządzenia:

Istotne może się okazać skorzystanie z takiego triku:

Odłączyć urządzenie a następnie użyć tail w trybie fallow:

tail -f -n 0 /var/log/messages

i podłączenie urządzenia.

Wykonanie tej czynności spowoduje wyświetlenie informacji z relacji jądro-moduł.
Podłączając urządzenie kilkakrotnie można porównać różnice, które mogą wskazać źródło problemu.

Po znalezieniu modułu ładowanego dla danego urządzenia warto się jemu przyjrzeć:

i określić z jakimi opcjami można załadować dany moduł.

Gdy uzyskamy te informacje warto przetestować opcje oraz upewnić się czy aby na pewno są ładowane razem z nim moduły zależne.
