Wiesz, jak dla mnie to nie ma znaczenia lilo czy grub. W Linuksie jestem totalnym amatorem, a w czym jest grub lepszy od lilo? Czy jest możliwa zmiana?

Ma znaczenie. Grub jest obecnie domyślnym programem rozruchowym. Zastąpił program lilo, który jest obecnie używany przez nielicznych użytkowników.

Aby ktoś Ci pomógł skonfigurować program rozruchowy lilo musi go mieć np. zainstalowany na dysku itp. Nie przepisuj ręcznie komunikatów z konsoli tylko skorzystaj z narzędzi dostępnych w Linuksie. Kierując wyniki poleceń np. do pliku.

W moim laptopie Sony Vaio fx101 od samego początku mam problem ze sterownikiem grafiki, gdyż ostatni sterownik na stronie producenta jest na xfree86.
Owszem zainstalowałem sterowniki dla grafiki intel 815 z repozytorium, ale i tak to nic nie dało.

Kiedy uruchamiam livecd to tak czy inaczej pozostaje mi terminal. Po wykonaniu polecenia kopiuję plik na kartę pamięci, a dalej na komputer stacjonarny i wklejam na forum.

Witam serdecznie.
Chciałbym podziękować wszystkim za udzielona mi pomoc. Temat uważam za zamknięty, Sony vaio zaczęło się resetować co więcej naprawa stała się nieopłacalna.
zmieniłem sprzęt na HP Nc6130 i wszystko śmiga. Jeszcze raz dziękuję wszystkim za mi pomoc.
