.xsession-errors i gnome-power-manager

Dość dawno temu znikł mi applet z menu do wyłączania komputera, nie przeszkadzało mi to za bardzo aż do wczoraj. Na forum znalazłem rozwiązanie by zainstalować gnome-power-manager. Problem polega na tym że nie uruchamia się ze startem, uruchomienie go z konsoli zwraca takie dziwne rzeczy (applet się pojawia ale trochę mnie niepokoją te ostrzeżenia).

Większość z tych ostrzeżeń tyczy się stylu GTK więc aż tak bardzo nie musisz się tym przejmować.

Jednakże zainstaluj

 aptitude install gtk2-engines-murrine 

i poustawiaj w /etc/dbus-1/system.d/ ustawienia z DENY na ALLOW.

Nie wiem czemu, ale na niektórych komputerach nie muszę przestawiać tego, ale u siebie muszę inaczej nie uruchamiają się gnomowe aplikacje.

Pakiet ten miałem zainstalowany, pozmieniałem też wszystko z ,,deny'' na ,,allow''. Niestety gnome-power-manager nadal nie ładuje się przy starcie. Można by go było dodać do autostartu tylko że powinno działać i bez tego. Jakieś pomysły dlaczego tak się dzieje?

A jakie środowisko ?
W gnome nie musisz ale np we fluxboxie musisz dodać do autostartu
Sprawdź jeszcze, czy w opcjach masz ustawione aby ikona była zawsze widoczna.

Myślałem że już będzie ok. Pojawił się applet wstawiłem go nawet działał ale to pewnie dlatego że wcześniej uruchomiłem gnome-power-menager z konsoli. Ale jest poprawa po restarcie applet nie znikł ale zrobił się szary i nieaktywny :-). Jutro pokombinuje dzisiaj już mi się nie chce.
Tak przy okazji nie napisałem wcześniej pracuje na debian sid, gnome

Jeśli robi się szary i nieaktywny to znaczy, że dbus i hal są nieaktywne/popsute. Sprawdź prawa w /etc/dbus-1/system.d dla hala

Juz mi się nie chce szukać. Dodałem gnome-power-managera do uruchamianych przy starcie i też działa ;p
