Wheezy - Problem z dźwiękiem

Witajcie
Mam do was takie pytanie. System to Wheezy z MATE 1.6.0:

Linux debian 3.2.0-4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.2.51-1 i686 GNU/Linux
Problem jest taki - w czasie kiedy uruchomiony jest Rhythmbox (ale nawet nie musi nic odtwarzać) nie jestem w stanie uzyskać dźwięku z innego programu - przykładowo odpalam VLC i jest cisza. Czasem wyskoczy komunikat, że urządzenie jest niedostępne. Żeby uzyskać dźwięk muszę zupełnie wyłączyć Rhythmboxa.

Nie ma w ogóle pliku

Nigdy nie korzystałem z rythmboxa, ale sprawdź ustawienia dotyczące dźwięku.

Ustawień dźwięku to ten Rhythmbox jakichś wybitnych nie posiada, żeby tam coś kombinować. W alsamixer wszystko wydaje się być w porządku.

Ale on jest raczej konieczny, bo bez tego gra tylko jeden kanał. Bez tego pliku zmiany i tak nie ma - może grać tylko jeden program na raz. Nie jestem na 100% pewiem, ale wydaje mi się, że Audigy samo w sobie jest chyba jakoś biednie obsługiwane w Linuksie - z tego co poszukałem w necie, to są z tym problemy właśnie na Audigy, żeby kilka rzeczy na raz odtwarzać. Będę się musiał rozejrzeć za jakimś SB Live! najlepiej (mój 10 letni SBL! problemu nie ma żadnego - z 5 rzeczy naraz mogę grać jak potrzeba ;) ), za małą kasę. Tylko sęk w tym, że musi być karta o niskim profilu - taka obudowa, no cóż.
