Błąd był spowodowany tym, że dysk systemowy był zapełniony. Ta ostatnia aktualizacja go zapełniła.
Katalog /var/cache/apt/archives zajmował 7GB bo znajdowało się w nim mnóstwo plików .deb. Mam nadzieję, że nic nie popsułem usuwając je wszystkie.
