system nie widzi czytnika kart pamięci

Jestem poczatkujacym uzytkownikiem Debiana, wczesniej troche siedzialem na Mandrivie. Moj czytnik jest wmontowany w laptopa. Przejrzalem forum ale zaden z postow mi nie pomogl. Wydaje mi sie ze system nie wykrywa urzadzenia.
Laptop HP pavilion 9790, Debian Lenny, jajko 2.6.25-2-amd64.

System nie widzi samego czytnika, dopóki nie zostanie w nim umieszczona karta. ;-)

Jako root wykonaj polecenie:

Pokaże się wtedy lista wszystkich dysków obecnych w systemie. Prawdopodobnie na samym dole listy pojawi się karta pamięci (tylko, że nie będzie to napisane wprost). Karta będzie tam oznaczona jako

/dev/sdx
gdzie zamiast "x", u Ciebie będzie kolejna litera alfabetu (jeżeli masz dyski na SATA, to prawdopodobnie będzie to litera "b" czyli /dev/sdb). Wtedy tylko jako root zrób sobie folder, gdzie zamontujesz urządzenie:

mkdir /media/card
Zamiast "card" wpisz co chcesz. Następnie montujesz kartę(jako root):

mount /dev/sdx1 /media/card
Oczywiście zamiast "x" wpisujesz literę, która pojawi się w fdisku. Teraz karta będzie zamontowana w katalogu:

Wynik lspci wskazuje, że system wykrywa czytnik. Oczywiście karta była w czytniku, gdy wykonywałeś fdisk?

Tak byla w zasadzie to tylko na Windowsie ten czytnik dziala poprawnie. Wczesniej probowalem na Mandrivie i tez niby system widzial, ze jest czytnik ale nie moglem zamontowac karty.
