klawiatura i mysz usb

To już trzecie podejście do napisania tego posta, ale teraz się uda, bo piszę spod windowsa.

Mam na komputerze zainstalowanego Debiana Lenny/Sid. No i po pewnym czasie:
1. zawiesza się myszka (mysz PS/2 podłączona przez adapter usb-ps/2 - nie mam ps-ów)
2. przestaje działać klawiatura i/lub zachwuje się jakby był wciśnięty ostatnio wciśnięty klaiwsz
może być najpierw 2 potem 1 albo odwrotnie, zaczyna się czasem zaraz po starcie, czasem nawet pół godziny jest ok.
Pod ubuntu live nie działa mi ani klawiatura ani mysz.

Próbowałem różnych rozwiązań przedstawianych tu na forum i na kilku innych, między innymi opcja irqpoll do kernela, usbmgr, zamiana mice na mouse0 w xorg.conf, zamiana usb, ale ciągle jest to samo (dzieje się tak zarówno w x-ach i terminalu).

Jak mysz działa (jak nie działa też) to po jej wypięciu nie zmienia się zawartośc dmesg (a chyba powinno). Mam nadzieję, że jak wejdę na linuksa to zdążę wkleić mój dmesg i xorg.conf - może ktoś z Was coś zauważy.

Acha - restart x-ów też nie pomaga (używam gdm).

Ech...

Wymieniłem mysz na usb i też nie działa. Próbowałem na jądrach 2.19 - tu jak się mysz zawiesiła to po odpięciu i znów przypięciu działa. Na następnych kicha Więc może rzeczywiście to kwestia jądra? Może mi ktoś powiedzieć jak/skąd mogę zainstalować starsze jądro?
Chyba, że mój komputer jest niekompatybilny z linuksem, jakkolwiek by to brzmiało :-/ .

Co do sysv-rc-conf to chyba muszę się jeszcze doszkolić co oznaczają poszczególne kolumny i jak bezpiecznie zaznaczać/odznaczać.

Nie starsze a nowsze zainstaluj. piszesz ze masz Lenny/Sid wiec w lenny ostatnie to 2.6.21 a w sid 2.6.22.

Używam 2.6.21, teraz zainstaluje 2.6.22 i zobaczymy.

Co do kolumn, wiem, że są to run-levels, ale nie wiedziałem który jakie ma zadanie, więc dzięki za linka.

Hmm...
Używam teraz jądra 2.6.22-2-amd64, ale przypuszczam, że to nic nie zmienia. Na razie chcę się nacieszyć działającym systemem, a może kiedyś zrobię tą aktualizację.
BTW dziwna sprawa - miałem Debiana z Linux+, tam pisało, że jest to płyta instalacyjna Etcha na i386, AMD64, PowerPC - instalowało się z automatu, nigdzie nie było do wyboru jaka platforma. Więc dlaczego się zainstalowało i386? A może jednak nie - jak mogę to sprawdzić?

So, I didn't have to make any crazy changes to any of the xorg.conf files or the like. I ended up going into the bios and enabling Plug & Play support and everything seems to be working fine now. I also have USB Legacy Support enabled.
i zaktualizuj BIOS.

Mam klawiaturę pod ps2 i podczas próby zainstalowania każdej dystrybucji Linuxa, jeszcze zanim się załaduje instalator pojawia sie i8042 can't read while initialize i8042. Gdy załaduje mi się instalator nie mogę nic zrobić, cały czas myślałem, że się komp po prostu zawiesza, ale teraz widzę, że to coś z klawiaturą. O co może chodzić?
