jak aktualizować jądro

Jako ze mam problemy z instalacja sterowników nvidi chce zmienic sobie jajko Jak mam wgrac nowsze jadro? Chodzi mi o zmiane jajka 2.6.25-2 na 2.6.25-4 lub cofniecie na 2.6.41
Czy musze kompilowac jajka? Czy jest jakis inny sposob zeby wgrac nowe jadro tak jak w mandrivie?

W repozytorium Lenny jest jeszcze jądro 2.6.22 natomiast ja używam jądra 2.6.26 z eksperymentalnego źródła pakietów oto ono:

Stąd instalujesz gotową paczkę i dalej patrzysz co się dzieje. Możesz mieć problem na razie bo nie ma jeszcze linux-kbuild 2.6.26 więc jak chcesz teraz, zaraz mieć to musisz skompilować jądro sam.

A jak sam skompiluje to nie bede potrzebowal kernel-kbuild? Bo jakis cudem udalo mi sie to zrobic ale grafiki dalej nie moge zainstalowac. Podczas instalacji sh NVIDIA bla bla bla juz pokazuje mi sie pasek postepu (na wczesniejszym jajku tego nie bylo) i wyskakuje mi ze "unable to build the Nvidia kernel module"

tak na marginesie tutaj jest metoda budowania paczki linux-kbuild gdy nie ma jej jeszcze w repo dla naszego jądra
