Witam wszystkich.
Musze z kims pogadac bo weekend zmarnowany przy kompie i zero rezultatu.
Na Windows7 chce stworzyc macierz RAID 0.
Mam:

Wszystko polaczone, wchodze do BIOSU kontrolera, nastepnie " SAS topology " a tam linijka "urzadzenia SAS nie znaleziono"
Co trzeba zrobic zeby kontroler zobaczyl dysk?
Moze, ktorys z kolegow bedzie wiedzial?
Przekopalem caly Internet.

Może kontroler nie obsługuje tak dużych dysków. Może trzeba zaktualizować firmware.

Pod Windows aktualizator pewnie za rączkę Cię będzie prowadził, zresztą pod linux masz bin to pewnie też.

Also, just in case this is the reason you're trying to update it, the SAS6/iR is incapable of reading drives larger than 2.2TB, and it's a limitation in the hardware, so firmware updates won't change that.

You can flash it in Windows with the Avago Megaraid software
Czasami w Internecie przewijaja sie watki jak ktos stosowal dyski SAS na Windows i dzialalo.

Na to wyglada, ale nadal brakuje mi informacji:
- jakie kontrolery sa kompatybilne do tego dysku?
Jakas Compability List?
- ktore z tanich !! kompatybilnych kontrolerow poprzez firmware update mozna zastosowac na dysku SAS 8 TB ?
Krotko mowiac, jak kazdy czytelnik zapewne zauwazyl chodzi o maksymalne obnizenie kosztow kontrolera dla dysku HGST SAS Ultrastar He8 8 TB.
